| Details: Great Plains Developer. Our client has a full time opportunity to provide application support for the firm’s ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), and all other associated business applications. Responsibilities also include performing various ERP related database implementation duties, report generation, and tasks associated with ERP system projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Provides business application support for system problems and enhancements, and provides customer support to all departments• Performs troubleshooting to resolve routine to moderately complex system problems, requiring detailed systems and applications knowledge• Analyzes, and tracks systems and applications knowledge• Manages short-term, standard projects such as compilation of special reports, assisting with system management to plan and complete projects, utilizing Microsoft Project as needed. • Supports and maintains Microsoft Dynamics GP software and related 3rd party software including loading service pack updates and using Microsoft Dynamics GP customization tools to import, update and modify data.• Manipulates and analyzes data to respond to business questions from various functional teams within the company.• Works with and supports IT staff by performing various tasks associated with ERP systems support and projects.• Modifies and maintains various forms using Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP report writer.• Works with senior level support, consultants, or other outside vendors to resolve issues that cannot be addressed with in-house expertise.• Establishes and maintains technical documentation and standard procedures. | ||||
